Meeting the Equine Assisted Coaching Students

July 5, 2016 by Pam Kachelmeier Leave a Comment

EACA Training June 2016 003

I get so excited and love when I get to meet the Equine Assisted Coaching Students in person. Here are Victoria and Vanessa, two of the four students, that came from different parts of the United States. Before the meet and greet, we start the training with weekly live tele-classes, and then we gather for the on-site hands-on training that involves learning the fundamentals, techniques and skill-set of becoming an Equine Assisted Coach.

Pam EACA Training June 2016

Here I am preparing for a hands-on teaching activity with Dan, one of my coaching equine partners. The students coach each other, and get a sense of what it may feel like, if they were the client. It gives the students the opportunity to not only learn the dynamics of Equine Assisted Coaching, but to engage their senses feeling out things. Doesn’t it look as if Dan is participating with setting up the activity, so much curiosity with what is going on. Curiosity is a great characteristic for your equine partner to have.

Vanessa and Dan

One can only wonder what is transpiring in this picture between Vanessa and Dan. Looking at the expression on Vanessa’s face, I would ponder to say that she is in a state of feeling connection and pure joy. Horses truly are angels in disguise and help our clients to find their way.

On the other front, the next Become an Equine Assisted Coach Essentials Course Training Group starts in September 2016.

Love and horse hugs,
